#Rocklovers - the indoors festival for data lovers, by data lovers
Picture this: electrifying live music, the energy of a mosh pit (optional, of course!), and enough good vibes to power the whole city of Tampere.
It's time to unleash your inner rockstar, swap your keyboard for air guitar, and celebrate our awesome team in true rock 'n' roll style. Get ready for a day you won't forget!
At the #Rocklovers festival at G Livelab in Tampere, you are invited to choose from a range of fun activities throughout the day. You get to channel your inner rockstar through various competitions, makeovers and music — if you want to. You can also just sit, relax and enjoy the company of your fellow data lovers! The eventfull day will culminate in a final, explosive crescendo by Ursus Factory. 🔥

The festival will also offer you some not rock related activities, so if rock is not your cup of tea, no worries! 🌞

There will be a photographer at the event and the photos will be used in marketing.
Arriving at the event
To enter the event, you need to wear an event pass around your neck on a Pinja lanyard. There are four different types of guest passes (as pictured above); Artist, VIP, Guitar Legend and Stage Crew. The passes are assigned by your answer to the event registration form.
Write your name or the name of your rock persona on the pass. On the backside of the pass you'll find your individual Rock Bingo grid, and the drink tickets as empty spaces for the bartenders to check.
You can pick up your pass from your local office or at the event gates. In case you've picked up your guest pass beforehand, please remember to have it on you as you arrive!
The gates open at 12. If you arrive before 12 o'clock, you may wait in the camping area for the gates to open.

Earlier in the day, it's your stage to jam: grab an instrument, join a spontaneous session with colleagues, and spread some musical joy! In the evening, the Lounge will be a relaxing place – a perfect, quieter space for board games, conversations, and catching the main stage action on screen.

10. House Band & Band Karaoke: Think you've got what it takes? Our house band will be rocking – it's your turn to shine with band karaoke. Grab the mic and own the stage by choosing your favorite song out of hundreds of options on the lists!
Finally: Ursus Factory Takes the Stage! Get ready to mosh, sing along, and experience the electrifying live performance of our headliner, the one and only Ursus Factory!

Introducing our artist: Ursus Factory
Hailing straight from Helsinki, Finland, the electrifying duo Ursus Factory is hitting the stage at the #Rocklovers festival! These two magnetic northmen, Jussi and Allu, bring an untamed energy and riffs that will absolutely blow you away.
They delve into the raw realities of life with a punch, but don't think for a second they take themselves too seriously – expect a healthy dose of self-deprecating humor with the volume cranked to eleven.

The Rocklovers And Datalovers Awards
At this year's Rocklovers event, we're celebrating music and our community, and this year we're also celebrating each other! All Pinjans now have the opportunity to vote for the colleagues they believe deserve to be recognized.
Cast your anonymous vote and share your reasoning in the following categories: 2025 Data lover, Pacesetter, and The most positive person. You can also suggest your own category and a deserving individual. The most impactful suggestions will be rewarded! 🏆

Traveling schedules 🚆
Transportations will be organized based on sign up form answers. The initial plan:
Espoo: Mini bus departs at 9.45 from Espoo office (Itsehallintokuja 6, Espoo). The ride is provided by Rollybus. The contact person on the journey is Toni Kontkanen.
Jyväskylä: Buses depart at 10 from Jyväskylä office (Lutakonaukio 7, Jyväskylä). The ride is provided by Jyväskylän Tilausliikenne Oy. The contact person on the journey is Timo Kortelainen.
Kempele: Train (Oulu - Tampere 7.49-11.51 / Tampere - Oulu 20.02-0.16). The contact people on the journey are Annika Korkala and Elina Szintai.

Drinks at the Festival
Rocking all day means you need to hydrate yourself from time to time! Your festival pass also holds your drink tickets. To get a drink from the bar, show the backside of your pass to the bartender, so they can tick a drink ticket box as used. Two drink tickets may be used on event cocktails/mocktails and the rest on light alcoholic beverages (beers, ciders, seltzers etc.) or non-alcoholic drinks. Additionally, drinks will be served with meals at the food court. Other drinks are at your own expense.
The consumption of personal beverages is strictly forbidden inside G Livelab and on its terrace.
The G Livelab bar serves a large variation of drinks throughout the day. Their lists have a lot of alchocol free as well as alcoholic beverages to choose from. They've also prepared a special, rock themed menu of drinks for us! Check it out 👇
