Seeking an experienced, hands-on Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Architect to lead and design solutions using Microsoft's modern data stack, including Fabric and Power BI.
Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Architect, Data & AI unit
We're looking for an experienced hands-on architect for our Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence projects.
In addition to architecture design, you'll be involved in practical technical work and supporting your colleagues in implementing the designed solution. Our architects are often the ones who act as trailblazers in new projects. Our architects often also participate to sales support.
Our common technical denominators are Microsoft products: various Azure data tools (Fabric, Data Factory, Data Lake, etc.). For the reporting layer, we use Power BI. We have been heavily investing in using modern products like Microsoft Fabric. The future is constantly bringing new and exciting solution options that you're eager to be among the first to try.
We work in small teams, and we've built our teams to be capable of independently producing complete results. A typical team includes BI and DW experts with different areas of expertise, an architect, and a project manager. Getting and giving help to colleagues is essential for us! Our skilled architect community will provide you with strong support, as an architect also occasionally needs to exchange ideas with other experienced professionals.
Our way of working is flexible: you can choose 100% remote, hybrid, or office-based – whichever suits your life best. Our offices are located across Finland, in Espoo, Tampere, Vaasa, Seinäjoki, Kuopio, Jyväskylä and Kempele, so you can always drop by and meet your colleagues face-to-face.
What is required to succeed in the task?
We expect you to bring experience in data-driven projects and strong communication skills. You should be comfortable leading a team while keeping your customers happy. The most important factor for success is your knowledge of what the stages of a data project are and how to successfully bring projects to the finish line.
What skills we expect from you:
- Proven track record of designing Data Warehouse and Business intelligence solutions
- Leadership mentality in technical aspects and problem solving
- Excellent understanding of concepts of Data Modeling & Data Warehousing.
- Ability to draw and plan your ideas and social skills to discuss matters with the customer and your team
- Good knowledge of Microsoft data platform products: MS Fabric, Data Factory & Power BI ecosystem
- SQL and python skills
- Hands on expertise to be able to participate technical work.
- Fluent Finnish language skills
In addition, these are beneficial:
- Various supporting Certificates. Especially Microsoft ones
- SSIS-based data warehouse solution understanding
- Other interesting technologies such as: DBT, DataBricks etc.
