We are looking for a new team player to our Cloud Services team. We expect you to be capable of using a solution-focused mindset and translating this approach into solutions that benefit our customers’ business.
What are your duties?
As a System Specialist, you will be a member of our Cloud Services team where you can:
- design
- advise on
- and implement
cloud solutions that meet customer needs.
As a member of the Cloud Services team, you work as an expert of your own area participating in projects related to the deployment and maintenance of cloud services. You play a key role in successful deployment ranging from
- implementation planning
- setting up a cloud platform
- taking the solution to production
- to maintenance in the spirit of the DevOps mindset.
Expertise can and must be seen, we do not only work as instructed but we genuinely want to offer productive ideas and add value to our customers. It is important to us that each member of our team can develop their expertise to master different technologies and utilize them for fulfilling ICT needs related to our customers’ businesses.
What do we expect from you?
The top priority is that you have the necessary passion for learning and developing. You do not need to be a fully competent player in the team of experts, but we will create the development path together. If you already have gained experience from your own interests or previous jobs, it would be great if your toolset included the following, for example:
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Private Cloud) and cloud infrastructure management
- Automation and DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub)
- Container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Monitoring solutions
- Open Source databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Elasticsearch)
- Knowledge of Atlassian products (Jira & Confluence) is an asset
A background in software development is an asset in this role but not a requirement.
You will be based in one of our offices in Jyväskylä, Tampere or Oulu. In this position, you are expected to have fluent Finnish and English skills, both spoken and written.
